Most of my clients require simple and straight-forward product photos – photos that are shot on a white background and are seamless with the web page that they are sitting on. Product photography requires special lighting techniques to accomplish successfully, especially to achieve natural shadows. This type of photography is very versatile because it can be used in many mediums effectively, such as in a print catalog or in an online store.

Each client’s project is unique and has different requirements – so sometimes our pricing has to be adjusted accordingly. Products that are more difficult to photograph can cost more due to the extra time involved in making them look great. Anything with a very reflective surface, such as jewelry, or anything that is clear, such as glassware, require special lighting techniques which takes a bit more time. On the other hand, very basic products, especially when they are very similar in appearance, take less time to properly light and photograph, which will result in a less expensive project.
